Stanford-Vistage webinar: Creating inclusive workplaces to drive innovation

Most leaders understand the link between diversity and innovation and are actively trying to increase the diversity of their workforce, boards, and leadership teams.  While some organizations have made strides toward achieving their diversity goals, others are still grappling with how to reduce unconscious biases that can undermine these goals. Additionally, many organizations are discovering that diversity efforts will continue to be an uphill battle if they are not able to build an inclusive culture, where everyone feels like they belong.

In this session, Stanford Professor Sarah A. Soule discusses the biases and barriers that members of underrepresented groups often face as they enter and advance in organizations, and organizational strategies for getting beyond these biases. She also describes how and why culture matters to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and describe proven ways to build a culture of inclusion and belonging in your organization.
