2022 Vistage on the Hill: Impact Day Report

Hear Vistage participants share their top takeaways from the Vistage on the Hill experience and the power of the platform.

We are passionate about helping small and midsize businesses (SMBs) thrive. In that spirit, we have cultivated a strategic partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the leading advocacy group for business on Capitol Hill. Every summer we bring a delegation to Washington, D.C., in an event called Vistage on the Hill, where members can make a direct connection to the very experts shaping policies that affect SMBs.

Our fourth annual event took place this July. We brought together award-winning members from across the U.S., top Chamber analysts, and members of the Vistage executive team, including Chief Research Officer Joe Galvin, Chief Member Programs Officer Mary Ellen Sheehy, and myself.

With the Washington Monument and White House as a backdrop, Chamber analysts conducted four in-depth sessions on policy issues facing CEOs of small and midsize businesses. They discussed implications and how to affect change in the legislative landscape.

Just as important, Chamber analysts were eager to listen as members voiced their challenges and solutions, speaking on behalf of business owners across the United States.

This report, prepared exclusively for the Vistage community, summarizes the insights and highlights from each briefing.
